Lettuce Love Cafe

Lettuce Love Cafe

DSC09883After enjoying some of the best vegan cupcakes I had ever had at Kelly’s Bake Shop, I knew that their sister eatery, Lettuce Love Cafe, wouldn’t disappoint! On a very cold and windy weekday, I decided to bite the bullet and drive to Burlington to give Lettuce Love a go! It was busy but cozy and warm inside. I looked over the vast menu and decided I couldn’t just pick one thing. A few things had to be tried. While everything was absolutely delicious, my favorite was the OMG Grilled Cheese Sandwich. There was just something about the fresh gluten free bread they used and the “cheese” that blew my mind. My second favorite was the Caesar salad. The home-made quinoa croutons on top were very good. It’s no wonder Lettice Love is voted Burlingtons favourite restaurant. They do what they do excellently! Apart from being 100% vegan, they are also peanut free and gluten free so you don’t have to worry about any cross-contamination if you’re celiac or gluten-intolerant! It may be a bit of a trek if you’re in Toronto, but I promise you it’ll be well worth it! Don’t forgot to head over to Kelly’s Bake Shoppe on your way home for some cupcakes! They’re literally around the corner from Lettuce Love Cafe!
